Born in Guatemala and raised in L.A. I grew up strict Seventh-Day Adventist, which meant no alcohol, no bad language, no dancing.
I was perfect for the job of secretary at my church... until I got fired.
So I rebelled and set myself loose in LA. I ended up accidentally working at a bong factory, almost getting abducted on Hollywood Boulevard, and I became a comedy writer.
I was most recently staffed on the upcoming Netflix animated comedy Mulligan created by Robert Carlock and Sam Means. I’ve also written on Norman Lear's reboot of One Day at a Time, YouTube Premium’s Me and My Grandma, starring Rhea Perlman and Facebook Live’s #1 show, Confetti.
I’m currently developing a Latinx comedy for FOX with Norman Lear’s Act III Productions, Campanario Entertainment, and Sony Pictures TV.
I wrote a children's book for Disney, Miguel’s Music, a companion book to Coco.
In my free time, I run a Latino writing group. We have one Caucasian member to meet diversity quotas.
I no longer speak Seventh-Day Adventist.
Si, hablo y escribo Español.
